Amentum (AMTM) gets 81% of its revenue from the U.S. government

What Amentum reports in its FY2025 10-K, and what federal contract records show.

Compiled by C. Zakarian, PhDFiscal year FY2025 (ends Oct 2025)Data as of October 15, 2026

Summary

Amentum reported that about 81% of its FY2025 revenue came through direct contracts with U.S. government agencies, roughly $11.7B of $14.4B by our calculation: "Approximately 81% of the Company’s revenues were derived through direct contracts with agencies of the U.S. Government for the year ended October 3, 2025." The public company was formed in September 2024 by combining Jacobs' government services business with the privately held Amentum, so we count its contract record only from federal fiscal year 2025.

The Army is its largest contracting customer, at 29.9% of the $6.11B in prime contract obligations we matched in federal fiscal year 2025, including logistics support under the Army's LOGCAP program (task order 0004). NASA engineering services and Missile Defense Agency work also rank high.

Much of Amentum's Department of Energy environmental cleanup work runs through joint ventures, such as UCOR at Oak Ridge and the Central Plateau Cleanup Company at Hanford. We list them below but keep them out of the totals, which is one reason the 0.52 ratio of matched obligations to reported government revenue sits below 1.0.
